We all dream about it, that deep enticing state of relaxation that revives us and allows us to function at our best and yet why is it so hard to come by?

We know that inadequate sleep wreaks havoc in our day to day lives and the accumulative effects of sleep loss lead to a range of poor health outcomes. Without enough sleep we find our concentration, reaction times and mood are altered which makes it so much harder for us to function on a day to day basis. And yet for something that should be second nature to us so many of us find it so difficult to achieve.

Our busy lifestyles have created so many external factors pulling us in all directions which results in increased stress levels. Of course the more tired you are ,the harder it is to get a good night’s sleep.
